If you encounter problems registering online, please review the answers to some of the questions we have already answered.
I have participated in the Walk & Run for Wishes in the past, is there an auto-fill option so I don't have to enter all my account information again?
If you registered online in the past enter your user name and password and this year's form will auto-population. Look for the "Click Here" option above the first page of the registration form. See image below for assistance. If you have forgotten your user name and/or password you can request to have that information emailed to you.
I'm having trouble logging in to my personal home page.
First try using "Forgot Username and/or Password" option located in the log-in dialog box. If this option doesn't help, please contact the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. Please provide us with your name and address and we will resend your log-in information to you by the next business day.
Why do I see a charge to "Kintera" on my credit card bill when I thought I was giving to Make-A-Wish?
Kintera is the service company Make-A-Wish hired to help with the processing of the online credit card payments for the Walk & Run for Wishes. Your credit card bill may have Kintera listed for your Walk & Run charges including any donation/pledges you may have made on our web site. Rest assured your registration, pledges and donations are benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
How can I register my family without having to enter my payment information for each person?
You can register your entire family or a group of friends when you select the "Register Multiple People" or "Register Family". When you select this option you can register your entire family or as many people as you wish and you will only have to enter your credit card information one time. To add additional family members or individuals, please click on "Add Another Individual". Click on "Continue" when you have finished adding names.
How do I register my family with a team?
You can register your family with an existing team by selecting the "Register Family" option then select "Join a Team". When you select this option a drop down box will appear and you can select the team you wish to join. Continue with the registration process as described in the above question.
I'm having difficulties registering my child?
If you are getting the following error message
Please remember to register using a valid birth date. The child must be 14 and under to sign up as a child. If they are older than this they must register as an adult.
I'm having difficulties registering as a senior?
The Appleton and Manitowoc events offer senior pricing. You must be 60 years or older to register as a senior. Entering your birth date is required.
I wish to pledge a friend online but your web site won't allow me to enter a pledge less than $25, why?
To be able to afford the processing fees that accepting online donations require, we had to set a minimum amount we would accept. The minimum amount we will accept online is $25. If you wish to pledge an amount less than this please print a copy of the donation form (a link appears on the "My Personal Page") and mail us your pledge.
I know I have raised more in pledges than what my home page is showing?
Many of your pledges are mailed directly to the Make-A-Wish offices. Due to the volume of donations we receive for this event, we may not be able to apply all of your pledges to our participants. We will make every effort to record them so your pledge total is accurate.
If I know who has pledged me can I enter those pledges myself?
If a friend or family member has pledged you, you can enter their donation by logging into "My HQ". You will need your user name and password to enter. Once you have logged in just click on the "My HQ" or "Tools". Select "Enter Offline Donations" or "Enter Pledges" and enter the donation. You will then see the donation gage reflect the change in your pledge amount.
